The Red Sox of the past four or five years aren't the team I grew up with. Unlike earlier versions, this team manages to get their stuff together for the post-season to at least be competitive. We managed last night to beat the dreaded Angels - who thoroughly owned us all season - 4-1 to take the first game of the AL East division series.
Is it too soon to ponder the imponderable - a Red Sox-Cubs World Series?
