Outrage: Palin's church favors converting gays

After the Jeremiah Wright affair, I guess it's only reasonable that the media take a look at the doctrine promoted by Sarah Palin's church.

Gov. Sarah Palin’s church is promoting a conference that promises to convert gays into heterosexuals through the power of prayer.

“You’ll be encouraged by the power of God’s love and His desire to transform the lives of those impacted by homosexuality,” according to the insert in the bulletin of the Wasilla Bible Church, where Palin has prayed for about six years.

I have a hard time getting exercised over a doctrine observed by a majority of Christian churches. It's not quite the same as -- oh, I don't know -- praying for God to damn America or something like that.
