Obama campaign: Tone deaf

Barack Obama's campaign came out swinging today with a devastating blow against John McCain's lack of, um, computer savvy.

Yeah...I guess all those 20-somethings who were going to vote for McCain are going to jump right over to the Obama column now, huh?

Do they have any idea how ads like this look to, you know, normal people?  What fucking idiots does he have running his campaign, anyway?

Update:  Ed Morrissey at Hot Air enlightens as to why McCain never learned to use a computer - his North Vietnamese captors ensured he'd never be able to type.  Ed's post goes on to say that McCain has been learning how to use a computer and the Internet, and there are apps out there now like Dragon Naturally Speaking that should keep keystroking to a bare minimum.

Unfortunately, it's a pretty fair bet that he'll never be able to throw any ceremonial first pitches after he's elected President.  Yes...my pessimism is waning.

Darn, and McCain was the perfect candidate for the very liberal left Silicon Valley, too bad he lost that vote.

*ugh* Tell me about it. My company's based in Silly Valley and I go out there a lot. Needless to say, I avoid discussing politics whenever we go out for drinks after work.
