Obama: Tax cuts good for economy

Now, how does Barack Obama square this circle?
Democrat Barack Obama says he would delay rescinding President Bush's tax cuts on wealthy Americans if he becomes the next president and the economy is in a recession, suggesting such an increase would further hurt the economy.
What's the over and under on the number of 'ums' and 'ahs' when he's quizzed about this one?

Update:  Seriously...this one thing could be what loses the election for the Dembots.  The logic of low taxes is now unassailable.  If rescinding tax cuts (more commonly referred to as raising taxes) would be bad for the economy, why raise them?  Wouldn't we be much better off boosting the economy with deeper tax cuts couple with reduced - as opposed to Obama's proposed increased - government spending?

If he were any other Democrat, he'd be exiled...

And if the HuffPo or Dkos was around when this Reaganesque (note heritage and hair) radical spoke, why they would call for his impeachment..

Proof that there was indeed a time when Democrats weren't completely off the rails.
