A grand jury has declined to indict Rep. Cynthia McKinney (D-GA) for assaulting a Capitol Police officer.
Initially, McKinney attempted to portray the incident as a case of racial profiling, but received little support for that position, even from the Congressional Black Caucus. This was a simple case of criminal arrogance which should have been prosecuted, but wasn't.
