Noted drunk driver to be given honorary knighthood

Britain will bestow an honorary knighthood on Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-MA).
He won't be allowed to call himself Sir Ted, but Britain is awarding an honorary knighthood to U.S. Sen. Edward Kennedy.
Mary Jo Kopechne was unavailable for comment.

...an honorary knighthood ? I thought he deserved an honorary doctorate in lifesaving.
Just imagine if Mary Jo had been the victim of a Republican senator. I wonder if he would have had a political career ?
