Laughable

Worldwatch Institute reports that in order to avert climate catastrophe, carbon emissions will have to drop to near zero by the year 2050...and go even lower thereafter.
To avoid the most catastrophic effects of climate change, world carbon emissions will have to drop to near zero by 2050 and "go negative" after that, the Worldwatch Institute reported on Tuesday.
What a joke. Here's their vision for a perfect world:

So.. will watching 10,000 BC (with Raquel Welch) be required viewing so we can know what to expect?

It'll be misleading. Presumably, with all the CO2 removed from the atmosphere, it'll be too cold for her to be that scantily-clad.

A lot of informed comment is predicting global cooling to continue, with a sharp drop midyear. I'm a sceptic about the weather forecasting profession, but without scare stories of sea level rises the global waming gravy train derails...

"Negative Carbon" emissions. Hmm... Either we ban all mammals from exhaling, or we spend kagillions of dollars ... pumping CO2 into mother earth.

Either way, I'm not holding my breath.
